The hotel is conveniently located close to Paddington station and a short walk from Hyde Park, making it a great base for exploring the city. It is situated in a quiet square, providing a peaceful atmosphere. it is near the centre of London, allowing for easy access to various attractions.
The furniture in the hotel is old and outdated.

Pleasant, well placed. Pity about charging extra for breakfast. Most hotels in the Paddington area include a buffet, or continental breakfast in the fee.
extra charge for breakfast

Great value for money! The room rate was very affordable, especially for a Christmas stay. The location was also fantastic, with easy access to public transportation and plenty of nearby attractions. Plus, the staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay.
There were a few downsides to our experience. the Wi-Fi was almost nonexistent in our room.

Conveniently located in a pleasant square, close to the Paddington underground tube station and within easy reach of Hyde Park. The hotel offers clean rooms and helpful staff.
Nothing not to love.

Its a good location
I asked for non smoking room but it had obviously been used by a smoker and there was even an ashtray in the room. I didn't get in to the room until later in the evening and the kettle was still hot as if someone had just been using it!The floors were really creaky so any movement from above sounded really loud. The beds were a little lumpy too.

Convenient for Paddoington station. Good size room for price. Basic but quite adequate for short stay.
Very old and small TV in room - needs upgrading to compete woth other hotels even in this price bracket. Bathroom decoration old and in need of updating - clean but detoriorating grouting, sealant etc, doesn't look good.

The hotel exceeded my expectations in various ways. the prices were extremely reasonable, offering great value for money. Secondly, the staff were attentive and provided excellent service, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. Additionally, the basic amenities and the comfortable rooms with single beds were perfect for a cozy night's sleep. Lastly, the location in a pleasant square gave the hotel a peaceful ambiance, while still being conveniently close to the city's attractions.
My stay at this hotel was satisfactory and there were no major issues.

The best part about this hotel was location. 2 minutes walk from Paddington Station/Tube. Excellent transport links.
Bathroom was far too small - anyone large/overweight should not stay here as you cannot fit between the gap between the shower/bath and wall (where the toilet is located!) Creaky floorboards upstairs kept us up all night whenever someone walked on them.

free wifi was a treat. did not expect to find this. most London hotels have a charge. breakfast was on a special discount, hotel is friendly enough but it is an old dated building . we got the room for a good price so I was not expecting anything fancy. it was clean and served the purpose. Location is great if staying in Paddington Sq area.
elevator was out when we checked out and we were on the 3rd floor. carrying bags down narrow stairway was inconvenient. Hotel did not have extra pillows we are allergic to feathers and the 2 little pillows extra in the room were old and almost flat. Hotel needs to update their bedspreads and pillows.

The Norfolk Plaza Hotel was a great find for our recent stay in the city. the location was absolutely ideal, with a tube station just a short walk away, making it incredibly convenient for exploring London. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, ensuring that we felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout our stay. Additionally, the rooms were clean and tidy, and we were pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail in the basic amenities provided. Lastly, the breakfast was delicious and had a good variety of options to choose from, setting us up for a day of exploring the city.
Despite a few minor flaws, our overall experience at this hotel was nothing short of satisfactory.

The location- very close to Paddington and Hyde Park, and in a pretty spot by gardens. Also the room was very clean and the bed comfy.
As it is an old building, the floors were very creaky and you could hear other guests and staff walking about. The cleaners were very noisy in the morning talking loudly and creaking the floor boards as they walked about doing their job. Check out was 11 but the cleaners knocked on our door at 9.30 which was annoying.
